This is me right now. I always find myself in the middle of not one, or two books at a time. More like five or six. I don’t know how it happens. I picked up the Hunger Games trilogy for two months, and now that I’m done I’m remembering all the ones that I was in the middle of:
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
Relationships: A Mess Worth Making
Teaching in a Distant Land
No Compromise (The life story of Keith Green)
The Little Prince
(Sorry for the lack of authors. These books are all on my shelf or in my room somewhere. And I’d be happy to tell you who all the brilliant writers are. Except that my light’s off and the roommate’s asleep. Haha.)
And if that list wasn’t enough… I also have this problem of buying a new book almost every time I am in a used bookstore. It’s like I can’t help myself. Recent finds in the past month include:
Three Henri Nouwen classics (Return of the Prodigal Son, The Inner Voice of Love and The Way of the Heart)
The Little Prince (Started it the day I got it and then sort of forgot about the little guy)
Sarah’s Key (Just came out as a movie but I’m determined to read the book first!)
The Inheritance (Louisa May Allcott’s first novel written at 17!)
Needless to say, I have a lot of reading to do. So excited for the weekend! :)
